What do you do when you delete domains?

I have let a lot of domains lapse the past year, and it is just dawning on me that this means I have a lot of bad urls out there that have been submitted to link lists. I mean some of these domains I had quite a few sites, and really have no way of knowing what link lists I submitted them too, because I lost a lot of the original files in a hard drive crash.

What do you guys do when you let domains expire? I feel bad, because I know that means some of you probably have dead links, or redirected links from my old submissions.

Simple solution would be to not let them expire :D

Odds are if you had pages listed, the link list or tgp would have already removed them since they'd be no dns.

That would be the best, but I went a little crazy buying domains awhile ago, waaaaay too many to have to keep renewing them when they were making no money, lol. I was up to 160+ and make money on probably less than 50, so have started scaling back.

I just finally started making some free sites again in the last week or so for the first time in almost a year, I'm hoping I'm not banned everywhere for having all those domains expire.|sad|

I just delete the domain on Mark's.
I generally don't ban them or anything, just remove the links.
Things happen, and I know all to well.

Though I would suggest sending an email to everyone you Might have submitted to... explaining what is going and Why (you're scaling back) along with a list of the domains to watch for.

The only time you'd run into a blacklisting is if the domain expired & then was bought by someone else & put online right away, thus causing the old sites that you had to go 404.
