For the last week, I wake up every day & the 1st thing that goes thru my head is "What fucking day of the week is it??"|lol|

Took my niece to Verizon to get her replacement phone set up & walked out with a new iPhone 11 for myself & a new iPad 7th Gen for The Bitch as they were throwing in the iPad if I upgraded my phone. They even threw in free wireless for the iPad |thumb

The amount of work I have to do - both legit & fantasy based - is |brick I have my playoff league to work on, I have a live football draft tonight at 8, and |bow| Ramster's making me work on our taxes about a month earlier than usual :D

IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship is on. The Soviets just knocked out the land of cheese & cocoa. Canadia takes on the Slovaks next, then Pagan's confusion starts as USA takes on Finland |hockey|

I NEVER know what day of the week it is. That happens when you work from home and do pretty much the same thing every day. It doesn't help that all of my calendars are in Finnish either.

Confusion? What confusion? Either team could take this one so it will come down to who makes the fewer mistakes and plays harder. This is one of those beautiful times when I get to just enjoy good hockey from two teams that are pretty darned equally matched. (Have to root for Finland 'cause that is where I now call home. I don't want to be deported. Besides, they are the underdogs right now!)

Good Day

Just swinging by since I've been kinda absent. Should of been home today but New Years Day I came down with death at 5am. That's how I'm saying it. Cold sweats to hot sweats to cold sweats all day. I honestly did not leave the bed except going to the bathroom which was A LOT. Spent half the day today in bed which I am back in again but needed to get out of it and force food in me. So far so good in holding it down.

Going to try and do a little wok before passing out again. Hoping to drive home tomorrow.

Hope this is not an omen on the rest of the year because I'm in desperate need of a good one.

I am late to the party! Had a couple of client meetings early this morning. That mixed up everything else and my day went to hell. Oh well. Dinner and Rummikub with friends tonight.

Tänään on perjantai. Eilen oli torstai. -- no shit, that is what my calendar says. Today is Friday. Yesterday was Thursday. Not only do I deal with reading these funny day names, but I am 7 hours (or more) ahead of you in time. It's already Friday here.

USA knocked out of world juniors by Finland

Just saying.

My time or your time. I actually do cruise by at all kinds of odd hours. I just don't always say anything.

Will Canada be next? Seriously though, that was one of the best games. Very close, very tight. Either team could have won that game. It all came down to who made mistakes. Sadly, the US blinked when it should not have and Finland capitalized. I hope this next game is just as exciting and well played.
