Loooong day yesterday between working & dealing with a stoned dog that just had his nuts cut off :D

I've got a lot on my plate again today workwise (It's Coronavirus Promotion Time!) and my buddy is coming over to pick up one of the many pieces of unused & unwanted furniture in my garage (a hutch if you must know, which I'm sure you don't)

Also, this lack of |hockey| has me all confused |loony|

Haven't been here in a few days, visiting family in Nova Scotia so not online much other than essential stuff.

Shit is closed everywhere, shit is insane. My daughter flew back to LA and literally hours later her school extended March break another week, which could go even longer. No sports anywhere, even my Men's league basketball is cancelled for a few weeks. In Ottawa now people are starting to clear out the grocery stores I see my friends posting. Here in Nova Scotia, business as usual, no one clearing anything out much lol.

Even stores here in Finland, with a little over 200 confirmed cases in a population of 5.5 million is hoarding. The Husband had to buy toilet paper yesterday. The first store was completely out of stock. No problem at the 2nd one across the street from it. Canned goods are also flying off the shelves. Almost any kind of gathering is shut down right now. With little to no snow, we can't even go skiing. We just have to take it day by day. Panicking and buying stuff we won't use doesn't help. Enjoying porn does.

Both TGPx servers are purring along happily on the Php 7.4. No issues at all to report. I did have a bunch of sites down yesterday on my Rotterdam host but that was because of a server error and nothing to do with my sites. What a rocky day yesterday!! Today is cleanup, and lots of building to do to make up for yesterday. I want my visitors to have lots of nice, fresh, tasty porn to enjoy on their self-isolation time.

FYI, H1N1 was WAY worse which is maybe why society is being more cautious this time around.

I spent the day driving...

A multi-handicapped woman from wifeys work wanted a cat ... it may sound simple - but shes in a wheelchair in a 24/7 assisted home and so when a local council is involved it requires the lady to fill a form requesting an assisted car, requesting a driver and coordinating a time when 1 educated and 1 other personnel could accompany her to pick up a cat ... which of course meant it would be in 2months at the earliest...

So, we told them to stuff it and just drove down and picked up the cat for her. That baffled the bureaucracy to paralysis...as I picked up the phone from the personnel coordinator or whatever:

"But what about fuel???"
"I intend to pour some inside the car, it works better that way"

"You can only be compensated if you have pre-approval and an accounting of expenses. I can send the necessary forms to you"
"No need, I fully intend to spend 0 seconds doing accounting"

"You are going on a saturday. Shouldnt it be the weekend personnel handling this?"
"Has it occured to you that Im not at all employed by you, im just taking my beloved wife for a drive and picking up a cat"

It seems endless....but the lady is happy at least|ArtWilliams|

For whatever reason I slept in today, all the way to 7am. Kinda feel like a slacker as I'm usually working at 5. I thought about taking the day off but it' raining here so since I won't go anywhere I'll probably work anyways.

Speaking of sports, they have cancelled or delayed the rest of supercross so no |hellomoto| for me to watch on tv. Oh well

Back from Hawaii and adjusting to the 6 hour time change. We are not quarantining but Toronto Public Health has suggested "social distancing" so we are doing that. Just home from a grocery and pet food run. I will likely spend time catching up on my programs this evening.

Though the USA only has a bit less than 3,000 cases of COVID-19, that is triple what is was a few days ago. I suspect the we in North America are going to go through what they are experiencing in Europe right now.
