Valentines Day, MOFO's - Can You Dig It?

I knew that you could. Riding a warm wave after the earthquake. Hope you are all well and sufficiently warm.

Well, seeing as this is apparently the Sunday thread...

|trump| was aquitted again, but it was nice to see 7 GOP Senators vote their conscience & not their party.

Still a bit nipply outside |boobies| It's currently 14°F/-10°Canadian |snowman2

The Bitch & I have no plans for Valentine's Day. She's hurting from working around the house all week, so odds are she'll veg out on the couch & watch movies all day while I work & watch hockey |hockey| After being together for almost 27 years, that's love :D

Wife tells me we can expect another one (earthquake) in the next few days. Bigger than the first. Im thinking about pitching a tent in the park.

How did you cope in the first one? It barely made news here

Same here. I only knew about it because I have a good friend that lives in Japan.

Probably scariest or 2nd scariest for me. It went on for a long time. The ebb and flow of it nearly unhinged me. Im in a high-rise in the middle of the bldg. The building wobbled and shook.

Mother in law, some 50 miles away said it was not much for them. The infamous 3/11/11 Fukushima was scary as hell though. She is a couple hundred miles away and happened to be outside when it hit. She said it sounded like a massive freight train coming at the house, picking up speed and sound as it approached. They had lots of breakage but no structural issues.

Sounds pretty scary. Lucky the country is largely built to prevent major damage from them ... I tried a few in Cyprus, but they were like 10seconds of shaking heavily & then gone - so on an entirely different level but the experience is weird as hell

It is weird. Reminds us the planet is alive and ready to crush us if necessary. lol.
Never experienced any real earthquakes til I moved to California. Japan has been a whole new level.
