How 'bout dem Lions? First ice hockey gold - EVER

The Husband's car decided it needed attention so it put a warning light on. We have a whole circus here today as he has to drive it with low coolant to the next town over - about 30 minutes. The inlaws will be here to follow him over and sit with him as they service the car. Then they are coming back over for coffee... which means the house has to be white-glove clean. I started coming down with a winter cold yesterday (must be all the very late nights watching ice hockey!), so I have absolutely no desire or energy to entertain anyone while my nose is running and I am coughing. It is a common cold - no fever. The Husband says his parents won't catch it because they have had their flu shot this year. I really did try to tell him they are not the same thing, but well... Google Translate says.. "flunssa" is both the common cold and the flu. The shot they got was for INfluenza, and there is no vaccination for the common cold but well, you know what Google Translate says goes.... I give up. Time to go back to the logical world of porn and the delights of shemales galore today.

^ Pagan, in Canada there is a commercial from the cheese marketing board. It's point is if you want your adult kids to move out then stop cooking with cheese. Maybe you should stop cleaning the house and your in-laws will stop visiting? Giving them a cold is a good backup plan, though. LOL

It's Family Day here in Ontario. One of two Provincial holidays on the calendar so not much on the agenda today. I'll either work on my site or on my raspberry pi arcade.

If only that would work. My saving grace is the language barrier. She does not understand English at all (nor does she want to), and I don't really understand her dialect. It doesn't help much when I ask The Husband for help and he ignores me. I think he forgets he lives here too and could do a bit more around here from time to time. They are on their way back, so the second act of this circus will start soon. After all, they can't catch the common cold when they have their influenza shots right?

Had a great time yesterday visiting with friends and since their kids came we went out back and drove RC trucks and had a great time laughing.

Today I'll do a little biz while watching tv. Hand is starting to feel better and going to try skipping the pain meds during the day today.
