Running A Virtual Reality (VR) Website

Anyone know anything about running a VR site as far as what the webmaster would have to do differently than a normal site?

Boss wants to do one & since I've never worked in VR, I thought I'd ask |shake|

Is this something indecently naughty??????

Well either way...you´d probably use Aframe (plenty of other options too) but thats the one i´ve mostly seen used and tried. You basically build it, so that its fully viewable in any browser - but has a defined area where the VR environment you design is loaded and the VR content called

You can read on it here: https://www.sitepoint.com/a-frame-th...the-web-today/
Or toy with it here: https://www.aframe.io

Obviously check out some other options too to see what suits ya (and/or scream at ElevatedX to release a ready made VR template if they havent already) - if they havent...i´d simply learn the basic aframe logic/commands and edit them into a template

Try to have a wide variety of viewer options.

You might want to nose around this site

They have 3 owners. Talk to each owner and get a different story. Like that. |flush|
