.jfif Image Files - WTF?!
1 Attachment(s)
We all save a lot of images during our daily work.
About 2 weeks ago I started to notice that some of the image files I was downloading were .jfif and not .jpg - and when you open one in IrfanView, it tells you that it's actually a .jpg file & lets you rename it http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1652212732 I'm seeing it more & more & more... Twitter, ElevatedX, a couple Hosted Galleries... Anyone know WTF this is all about? Some way to hide .jpg files from image scrapers maybe? |huh |
Never heard of it until you brought it up.
Somewhat related and perhaps helpful to some, I use this Chrome add-on daily: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...bcpjdlppllnemd It allows you to easily save any image you see as JPG, PNG or Webp with just a right click. |

Ah.. how about an old form of .jpg? This article says you can just rename it but it is essentially old file structures and considered obsolete.
