McDonalds Sucks
 

A couple of nights ago for some reason, I had this hankering for either a Whopper at Burger King or a Big and Tasty at McDonalds. I decided to go to McDonalds. Ordered my Big and Tasty, large fries and a nice big diet whatever.

I get home and after eating half of my Big and Tasty, I notice that there is no meat :) First, how do they make the mistake of making a hamburger without any meat and next, are they really that bad that I didn't notice there was no meat until 1/2 way through it?

I gave up on Micky D's burgers years ago. Nasty, just plain nasty. |sad|


Of course I can cook well so that makes a difference.

And people wonder why I'm a vegetarian.

Maybe the wonderful help there spit in your burger instead of putting meat in it. They caught the help at the local Burger King here doing that. It got closed for good, but that is just the one that got caught.

On the same topic, has anyone seen the hype for the new documentary called "Supersize Me"? Some guy decided to eat nothing but McDonalds food for 30 days and document his progress. After 21 days, his doctors told him he had to stop because his cholesterol was through the roof. His liver had so much fat in and around it, they thought it could kill him and he gained 25 pounds. He ate 3 meals/day and at least everything on the menu, once.

Well.. looks like this Big and Tasty was a vegetarian one :)

Being also a vegetarian the idea of McVegies sounds very nice for me.

What I was tying to convey was that since I can cook by comparison fast food sucks. There is nothing wrong with someone grabbing fast food if that's what they want. It's just not for me.

If I get hungry late at night and don't feel like making something I go to my favorite 24 hr diner. :)

I dig fast food, just had the DQ flamethrower, it was ok, nothing to brag about.

But I really do prefer McD's over almost anything else. But I always hate myself later. So it's kinda like a S&M thing with me.

You ordered a Big & Tasty; check
You went home; check
You ate half of the Big & Tasty before you noticed, no meat: ?

Sounds like: too many galleries being screened or too many empty brown bottles|banghead|

I say bring back the Pup-N-Toco's they had the best hot dogs, west coast thing I guess.


I have never in my life had a Mac donalds or windys, carl's Jr, BK hamburger, or any other fast food place. I dont eat beef.

In my own defense, when you get a Big and Tasty from McDonalds the first few bites are usually without burger. And, they put so much other crap on it, it took an extra bite for me to find out there was no meat.

Personally I like to skip the middle man and just drive out to a farm to find me some fresh cow. Nothing like going up to a nice plump cow and sucking on its asshole, always fresh and steamy.

I'd kill for a flame grilled whopper - we have ONE Burger King in the whole of german speaking Switzerland - in Zurich I believe. The Big and Tasty is the nearest thing to it - Macs is everywhere here - ohhh, and no Pizza Hut either :(
