Good morning |waves|

I worked yesterday afternoon after playing morning basketball and today, worked this morning for a few hours and just got back from a Costco run. We got the Grandson last night and the wife is driving him home now and I am going to meet the boys for some well deserved |beers| within the hour |thumb

In other news, the Toronto Maple Leafs FINALLY got out of the first round of the NHL playoffs. Only took them 19 years :D Funny what happens when you get good goaltending, Samsanov played a really good game last night.

I got the chance to hold a skinny ginny yesterday. A hairless guinea pig. Its like holding a cock with whiskers and feet. Cute in a weird way.

Any Canadians give insight to C11 law just signed in? Is it as terrible for Canadians and internet use as the talking heads say?

It requires Internet companies to have Canadian content requirements just like legacy media companies (TV, radio, etc.) have had for years. Really, I haven't given it much thought. The purpose is to fight off American cultural domination.

Ah, so its a good thing. Thanks for that info. All the analysis I have seen is fairly mumbo jumbo.

I don't think most people know this. Being close to Canadia, we get their TV & Radio broadcasts. They are required to have a percentage (?) of what they air be originated in Canadia. Listening to 97.7 growing up, we heard a lot of The Tragically Hip, Crash Test Dummies, Our Lady Peace, The Tea Party, Bare Naked Ladies, etc.

Most don't like the C11 law because in reality it means more Canadian content. Now, that is not a bad thing but if 10% of Netflix is Canadian now and the new rule means it has to be 20% then Netflix has to drop some other shows that people might like and add a bunch of fucking crap shows no one wants to watch LOL |huh
