Up early and working away |coffee Work planned all day for me. Worked yesterday a bit and also did some packing then the wife and I tried to go to a patio for a bite to eat and the bars had outdoor seating closed due to the bad air quality from the fires north of us in Ontario and Quebec. Admittedly, it was quite overcast with the smell of a camp fire outdoors |crazy| Have a good Monday |thumb

I'm trying hard to stay away from that black pit. I talked to my mom last night, and probably should not have. She's going on 97, and I am now her sole heir. She has a nice cushion saved up, but the problem is that once she passes, her bank will not do an international wire to me. They stopped doing those several years ago and tried to tell me all banks stopped it. I know it is BS because I get my pension via international wire. What she was doing was sending me random amounts each month instead of adding to her savings account. Nice, and it helped me by funding my domain names, hosting, and stitching addiction. We also used those funds to buy a new stove, a grass trimmer, and a really cool Bradley Smoker. She went to the dentist last week and had to have a denture reline. The bill floored her, so she will no longer be sending anything each month. I should have known it was too good to last, especially after she announced she was buying her ex-son-in-law a new car. Like I just told The Husband - it's on that side of the pond and is really not part of my life these days.

There's lots of strange stuff going on these days. I am just going to go back into my hole and work. Now I definitely need the sales, more than ever.

Busy, busy weekend doing charity stuff. Now, I'm back at it on my laptop.

It's by-election day in Toronto. We're voting to replace our 68 year old mayor who quit after a newspaper reported he sleep with a staffer.

Good Morning :)

Grandson is now gone and it was great having him and the time we spent together. Miss him being here but it's now time to get back to normal.

Have a doctor appt later this morning and an errand to run but hopefully will get back to doing a bunch of biz work this afternoon. Should start working on the house again tomorrow though the sun is now out and all the grey is gone so this will be interesting.
