Back in Toronto after a trip that was much better than I thought it would be. My family was very well behaved.

We had two delayed flights yesterday but luckily got home rather than being stuck in an airport hotel in some distant city. Our 3 am bed time means I will be napping today.

Up early and working, that's the plan all day before meeting friends for birthday beers for Jimmy, who's 61 today |cheers|


We flew to Nashville, flight delayed 4 hours. Friends flew home via Montreal, Montreal to Ottawa cancelled, they had to rent a car to drive the 2 hours home. (Same thing happened to me in June coming home to Portugal, Montreal flight cancelled, I had to Uber home). From Nashville we flew to Arizona from there, all good. I flew to Vegas from there, flight totally cancelled while I'm sitting at the airport, I had to book a new flight to Vegas. Flight home to Canada delayed but only about 30-45 minutes.

It's like half of every flight you take is delayed or cancelled lately! It's insane |angry|
