Saturday 2023-08-05 aka Celebration Of Life

I'm going to a Celebration of Life for my oldest friend today. He passed last year from cancer :( There were always 3 of us hanging out together when we were in grade school & I really hope |pray| our 3rd can get off work.

Until then, I have a scene to do...

We are supposed to have a major storm on Monday, which really throws a kink into my work. So today and tomorrow, I need to push hard to get work done through Wednesday. They did tell us this morning the storm would be a little later than originally expected, and that it will slop into Tuesday. sigh... back to the grind.

I ended up going outside and working on the yard yesterday so now I hurt. So it looks like a simple day of just doing biz grunt work with or without the TV on. Need to rest because a high school friend is in town and we're meeting up for dinner at my favorite restaurant.

Going to my BIL's days after 10 days away. The grossest part by far will be half open containers of milk open sitting on the counter for days.

After that, I'm going to sit watch the baseball game.

Sorry to hear that. Hard times! We're at that age when friends start passing, not good at all :(
