Friday October 6th - Let the fun begin!
 

Today starts the Birthday/Anniversary weekend. We will be leaving shortly here to go pick up the MIL's birthday cake about an hour away from us. Then The Husband is going to go over there and help cook for tomorrow. I think we are having anniversary lunch today...

Tomorrow, we head over for her Birthday. The other brother and his fiancee are also going to visit. What very few will realize is that tomorrow is our 12th anniversary. We never celebrate it because we are always too busy or broke after getting ready for her birthday. (Word to the wise - never get married on the day before or after a family holiday like a birthday...)

Somewhere in there, I need to squeeze in building more galleries. Best to get my rear in gear as we are leaving in about an hour...

Whelp, my mood went to shit yesterday afternoon |facepalm| Not too bad now, but I do have a wicked stomach ache for some reason.

Aw.. thanks. We actually decided this year that we would celebrate on the day we met in Stockholm - September 7th. It's a much more relaxed day for us. The cake looks totally delicious (https://www.pyymaen.fi/kahvilat/wp-c...7/IMG_9398.jpg) I think that picture is their strawberry cake, which is to die for. We picked Raspberry this time. We had lunch at a neat Tex-Mex/Western grill, which is always fantastic. We now go there every time we have to go pick up cakes. I know we will go again in early December for the FIL's birthday.

LOTS of meds can do that, especially if they are combined with some foods or beverages. Hopefully it goes away quickly.

Just been puttering taking care of some cleanup stuff while it is quiet. But, it is time to get the work done while I can.

Happy Early Anniversary Pagan!
We celebrate our anniversary on the day we met which happens to be the day after my birthday. Makes is easy for me not to forget :D

Heatwave continues and we hit lower 90's F yesterday. Not sure I'm getting outside to work since I have some errands to run this morning. Other than that it's the usual.

It's F1 weekend and its a sprint race weekend as well so qualifying is today which is the best part!

Not much going on here. I was at the doctor for my usual blood pressure check and script refill. Other than that, it's a quiet day. Everyone is out tonight so I'll be alone in the house. A rarity.

That's very romantic. The day you met. I always remember our day, August 26th. I'm usually off by a day when it comes to anniversary but the day we met is always there.

Thanks everyone. We did have a lovely day yesterday. Re-met the Husband's almost-grown up nephew, ate reindeer, and the cake was fantastic if you like raspberries. Now to get back to normal.
