Login Helpers

Can anyone recommend a good login helper program that's free and doesn't come with a ton of spyware?

I've been using Gator for years but finally cracked this morning and deleted it. I just couldn't take all the spyware that comes with it (even though I'd repeatedly removed these components).

Thanks in advance for the help.

I think you’ll find that you didn’t delete it completely and that it will still drain your resources and track your web movements. Gator is one of the most intrusive programs you can install. If you dislike spyware then you should stay as far away as possible from this class of applications. |lightsabe

I have been using Roboform for awhile now. I think it's great. There is a free version thatr will save up tp 30 user/passwords. I opted to actually pay for the full version it is worth it.

You're right! When I uninstalled Gator, I then ran AdAware. There where all kinds of data registries still installed!

gel,

Thanks for the mention of Roboform. I remember hearing about that program. I think I'll give it a try.

I use roboform too. I'm also pretty sure that the new google toolbar has something like that built in.

Yeah, I haven't used that feature, but the toolbar does have it and it's not an invasive spyware-ridden program by any means like others. I originally installed it soley to track PageRank, but I've grown quite fond of it actually :)

I love Roboform, been using it a long long time now and it doesnt come with all of the crap that everything else comes with.

So it would seem the consensus is that I should get Roboform. Should I pay for the full version? It looks like the free version only lasts for 30 days.
