We went to visit my buddy in the hospital, but they had him in some sort of secure area of the hospital where we had to have an appt to visit him :(

A lot of grunt-work on the agenda for today. Might have a couple |cheers| later :)

I'm in Tampa with the wife for a wedding tonight. We're heading over there in 2 hours. It should be a fun night though we hardly know anyone! |thumb
I've always called it Tampa Bay because well, I thought that was its name but apparently, it's just Tampa (the city) and the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Buccaneers refer to the "area" of Tampa referred to as the Tampa Bay area |huh

I went to a soccer match to see my team. Even though third place in the league was already secured, they played like there was no tomorrow.
So my buddies and I are quite happy after a 2-1 win.

Oh, and I met an old friend for a few hours before the match.

In other words, a good day!

Growing up there used to be vast stretches of swamp and pinelands with nothing on it. Now, when you head over to the coast it's all connected. With strip malls and gas stations. sigh.

The area around Westshore and Clearwater are still nice.
Downtown St. Pete has the Dali Museum. Have a couple of cocktails and wander around that if you have time. Great and weird artist.

Have fun at the wedding.

It was a good time. Flying home now:)
