What works like PayPal?
 

But isn't PayPal? Since they do not allow adult items to be sold unless they are on Ebay...(oh brother), what other payment methods do you all use if you are selling tangibles? I have some videos to sell and I use CCBill for my subscriptions. I do not have my own Visa, etc. processing. I tried StormPay and didn't like it.

Any ideas?

epassporte is one alternative

You can get a merchant account for tangibles only; it will cost $200 or so.

Write to karen at netbilling.com for more info.

As soon as we get our site re designed I am setting ours up.

I am not familiar with it as yet but take a look at Storm Pay.

i started using http://www.moneybookers.com/app/ a few weeks ago.. seems pretty decent. As of today you can even send text messages to cell phones with them :D

I've heard of epassport... seems to be pretty popular now.

I wish I could say EpassPorte works like paypal but there are a couple of notable differences.

EpassPorte accepts adult sites, Paypal does not.
Paypal will transfer money into your bank account, with EpassPorte it has been coming soon for at least a year.

But, you can now transfer money with EpassPorte using your cell phone. The reason to do that??? Who the hell knows.

Just a quick note to EpassPorte...stop adding bells and whistles that nobody cares about and get it setup to transfer money to a bank account, please? And, raise the daily limits for christ's sake. I jumped through hoops and it still was never raised.

About a year ago they were promising bank transfers in a matter of weeks. If I wasn't so lazy I'd look for the thread. I distinctly remember all of us saying that was the thing most wanted. I find it amazing they still have yet to integrate it.

Do the Epassporte people still come by here?

I signed up for an account with Money Bookers as well yesterday, so far so good

I am afraid they monitor one board only...

www.escrow.com is another alternative. I used it to sell a website last year. Took a while for the entire process to finish, but it might be worth looking into.

the company I use for selling online videos without a merchant account is ccnow.com, I think they now charge a low monthly fee for new accounts though
