My dumbest move in along time
 

I went to a Mexican dentist Friday to get a bridge put in. The teeth that he was supposed to hook the bridge to just crumbled when he went to grind them down to attach the bridge.
Then he started talking implants and posts, so I said fuck it yank them out and give me a partial despite my wife and the dentist trying to convince me that the implants were the way to go
the thought of having to cross the boarder twice a week to go to a dentist for the next few months seemed like the worse of two evils at the time.
So he yanked four teeth and gave me 3 prescriptions 1 for pain and two different antibiotics stressing the importance of the antibiotics when I got home I took one apiece and went to bed.
Got up bright and early Saturday felt a little groggy figured it was from the pain pill no biggie. When my wife got up she asked me if I needed a pain pill and I sad no so she gave me the two antibiotics and got ready for work.
My wifes aunt had her kidneys fried by a Mexican Doctor a couple years ago by prescribing Arthritis medicine to her and my wife gave her one of hers, I heard at least one Mexican Medical Horror story from each of her relatives during this time
Also one of the working girls that has become good friends of my Wife went to Guadalajara for a tummy tuck the week before last and we hadn't heard from her so my wife was getting worried and I heard another bunch of Mexican Medical Horror stories.
So I'm being good and taking an antibiotic every four hours I don't want to end up being one of those horror stories. The Wife went and spent the night at her daughters to baby sit after she got off work Saturday. I start feeling light headed having trouble concentrating so I went to bed early.
The dog woke me up in the middle of the night wanting to come downstairs and I was so dizzy almost fell down the stairs.So yesterday I'm feeling worse and spent most of the day convincing myself that I've picked up some kind of infection and my cheap ass is in for it now.
By yesterday evening I'm getting real worried no fever but I'm really feeling out of it. Tell the wife to arrange for someone to take her place at work so she can drive me to the Doctor in the morning if I'm not better.
Last night She discovered I had been taking a pain pill every 4 hours instead of an antbiotic I wasn't getting sick just stoned

Too many pain pills will do that to you :)

That or teach him how to read the labels LOL

What the hell? Do you think you are Rush Limbaugh? You've got to slowly build up a tolerance (and addiction) before you start treating them like candy.

Mexican Pharmacies are a little different than the ones in the states. All the medicine is prepackaged, usually in boxes or plastic bottles (no child proof pill bottles)
I grabbed the two biggest boxes, ignored all the Spanish writing and looked for 100mg and 500mg. Of course found out latter that the pain pill was also 100mg
I understand enough Spanish to follow the gist of a converstaion but cain't read a word|violin|
