phpadsnew and freesites... what do you think?
 

I've been setting phpadsnew up so I can use it on my linklist and at the same time on new freesites.
There's no problem on my linklists cause I'll just use PHP but what about freesites?

What do you think I should use and will other linklists have a problem with using php/javascript for banner rotations?

For the most part, you should be safe - a lot of people use banner rotators on their free sites.

It does make your site harder to review since we will sit there refreshing your pages to see what you have in rotation so if your site is borderline then we might reject it but other then that there is not a problem.

So there's no preference towards either php or javascript?

Everything in rotation will be on the up and up Cleo :) don't worry about that. I'll be using the same rotation on my linklist www.thelinkcafe.com

I don't have a problem with php or javascript IF I know the webmaster. Can't stress that enough.
Simply knowing who you are makes a ton of difference.
The fact that you posted beforehand, heck yeah, have at it. I know it makes things a ton easier.
(just don't go hog wild on a banner change.. like

links... LOL )

I've made a couple free sites with phpAdsNew rotating the banners. Overall I've had a good acceptance rate. I even gave the LL owners a heads up in the comments section to let them know what to expect.

Celo did reject my gallery. And it's true the content wasn't exceptional :)

From now on I'll use my nickname from the boards so LL owners will be able to see questions like this before I submit something questionable? Hopefully they won't be too hard on my newbie mistakes.
