Do SE's Spider SSI Includes
 

Ok here is My dilemma need to know if search engines when they spider do they spider SSI Includes Ie.. Ok i have a page with content and want to include category list on bottom but i dont want to have to change it when i add or remove a category.

short answer = yes

SSI is server-side - so an SE bot wouldn't know the difference.

anything that is done server side (ssi, php etc) is done before the page is downloaded by anything including spiders ... client side is done after its downloaded such as javascript
