anyone use NetworkSolutions.com anymore?
with all this godaddy stolen/moved/hacked domain talk now-a-days....does anyone use good old network soutions anymore???
XPorn |
Not for anything new, that's for sure. I've got 7 old domains still there- I think I bought 10 years worth of registration for some of them. And it's a real pain in the ass to move names from netsol, or at least it was. You have to fax them shit on company letterheads and the like. The last time I did it I had to make up a damn company letterhead just for that purpose, because I regged under an old company name that I no longer use.

I had a domain stolen that was at Net Sol. I still have a few TV domains there but they have the worst system of any register that I've found.

You can/would probably hear more horror stories about Network Solutions that you would with GoDaddy

Thats what I thought....
Just thinking about where to move some domains too.....maybe directnic.com....hummmmm XPorn |
well i got a reseller account at enom.... imo these guys are great but then again i have never had a problem with them so i couldnt tell you how they handle anything
The reseller account is great though load a 100 bucks in your account and you can buy renew or just let it sit any time..... Really its a great deal .... |
hehe i remember the good ol days when you could grab domains and pay for them later lmao - it was awesome :)
nowadays i just use..... www.domainnamesystems.com |rasta| |
I still have a few domains at networksolutions but I am slowly moving them over to directnic.
I used to enjoy the try before you buy option but, I did let a lot of good domains go that I didn't think were so great back in 96. I wonder what lesbians.com would have been worth in the hayday of domain buying. |
I have not had any problems with Godaddy *knock on wood* but netsol...man what a clusterfuck.
