Which Link Lists Send the Most Traffic?
 

If you were going to submit only to the top 20 or 30 traffic-producing link lists, which ones would be on your list? Here are the best ones in my experience, in alphabetical order:

That depends on what niche you're promoting - I love Tommy, but if I built a Big Tits site, JanTM would get the submit before Tommy did.

Cleo, I do quite well in porn thanks so I won't be taking out that McDonald's application any time soon.

OK, so I accept that you want quality traffic. But my stats software doesn't rate traffic by quality. If I get one hit in a month from tinylinklist.com how am I supposed to know that the hit resulted in a signup and I should keep taking the time to submit?

But McDonald's does have more traffic then all the link lists and TGPs put together. :)

If McDonalds ran a link list I'd submit to it. In the future maybe they'll have an adults-only area with a monitor at every table and a list of porn links for your entertainment, plus a box of Kleenex.

OK, now being serious, what are you advocating? That I submit to every link list in the world in the hopes of getting quality traffic and Google PR? I can't submit to every possible link list -- building and submitting free sites is only part of my porn business.

If there's a way to know who sends quality traffic I'd love to know about it.

It is all trail and error to see who's traffic works best with your stuff.

How much traffic a place sends you is only part of what you need to looks at. You need to watch your sponsor's stats to see what ads are bring in sales and then figure out where the traffic came from that is feeding the ads that are converting for you.

All this is different for each webmaster so asking who has the best traffic is like asking who sells that best food.

One thing you might try that has worked well for me back when I was submitting a lot - check the LLs on Google for your niche and pick the ones that rank well - not only does it help in the long run for your sites' ranking eventually, but its a pretty good bet that the LL is going to have pretty targetted traffic for that niche - and I can guarantee that SE traffic that has been filtered to a niche is golden compared to thousands of hits from non-targetted traffic

But i see, 20-30unique... :(

Hsudam - the first traffic clicks are not very important, more valuable are single clicks from category, which often converts into sales :)

A little birdy told me that Mondoerotica.net and link-fabulous.com both have about the same amount of uniques per day as We Love Free Porn.. so they might be worth trying as well ;-)

There are some very useful and totally hefty link sites missing from this thread. Ignore them at your peril.

And NO - I'm not trying to get myself noticed. My site is neither hefty nor useful. It's closed to public submissions.

Nobody's mentioned DD, PSL, LF ...

DD would be Danger Dave. I've submitted multiple sites there and never been listed. |pissed|

If PSL is premium sex links, I do submit there and find them ok for quantity of traffic but not in the same league as the others mentioned. Also, half the time the verification code you have to enter doesn't load, and they don't answer me when I email them about it. |angry|

If LF is Link Fabulous I also put them in the "ok" category, at least in my experience. I submit all my sites to them but am not getting huge traffic back.
