Multiple domain server stats solution ?
 

Hi all,

I've been using awstats to keep track of my server logs but am having problems with it and have decided to look for something better.

What I'd really like is something that will run online like awstats does as I don't want to be downloading log files all the time

And something that can display not only the stats for the single domain but show stats for each domain plus a total for all my domains.

Does anyone know if such a beast exists ?

Hmmm... Cleo posted a link to a solution in the thread about new rules on Link-o-rama. But it was a $750 solution. The reason it came up... because I was looking for something exactly like what you just posted.

I did a little search and found the thread you mentioned.

That looks perfect, aside from the price. Although another solution I looked at was Urchin and the licence for that is even more.

I'm still looking :-)

I hated the customer stats version of urchin I have had at one or two webhosts a while back..

I've found a couple of addon for awstats tha will do what I want but I can't get awstats to install correctly....

AWstats has certainly been a winner for us apart from the lack of daily stats (I know Surfn... it has daily stats!... But I want total daily stats LOL... click a day... get the stats) Only other problem I see there is: I would love a clickable url to the search engine referral page... guess I am getting demanding now!

But its easy to install and shows excellent data... not sure why you would be so unhappy with it.

I'm not unhappy with it.... it was a case of user error that messed up my various installs of awstats...

I accidentally deleted working installs on a couple of domains and now I cannot remember how I originally installed it...

If I could get it re-installed and install the multi-domain stats mods then I'd be a happy camper again ;-)

Where did you find those add-ons? Maybe I can get my host to install them. That way if things blow up... it ain't my fault :D

mk stats use to give you reffers for each page
including se hits and keywords/keyphases for each page of the domain

if someone could come up with a stats program like that at a resonable price I would bet they would be a overnight millionare

if you have 200 hundred gallery pages if gives you reffers and se phrases for each gallery ????

It gives me the all the referrers for all the pages ( a bit more than 200) the SE it breaks down to each search term but not by page. Although I can see in my live stats what searches are to which pages. :)

I'm still a big fan of Wusage http://www.boutell.com/wusage/ It provides detailed stats on daily basis and I mean all the detail for a day, week or month.

You could set it up to create reports for single domains and I think all domains but I'm not sure about that.

I'm with SirNoby, Wusage is really nice.

I made a simple script for Wusage 7 that will send me an email once a day with how many uniques each of my domains has got.

Pretty nice way to get a quick overview of which domains that I need to work on, which domains that I need to take a closer look at and total uniques across all domains.

Ever thought of having it import a webmasters local statsremote datafiles so it can show sales and hit stats in the one interface?

Yes, it's mine.
I have been thinking about it, but I dropped the idea when I got too much to do. I might look into it again if there's enough interest.
