Not sure which sponsors to promote...

There are a lot of sponsors out there.

I'm signed up with 146 sponsors right now.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the sponsors I'm signed up with.

I only have so much HD space and bandwidth (like everyone else) so picking who I sell is a hassle.

A couple days ago I posted regarding free sites using free sponsor content. Learning that's not so hot- I'm hitting up a lot of sponsors to give me 'virgin' content.

So, those that are super cool about giving me access to their members area or tossing me stuff that hasn't entered into the affiliate stream yet will be the 1st companies I promote.

On the other hand, there are a lot of 'small' sponsors with a site or maybe a few sites that don't give out those high PPS dollars and are just revshare.

Maybe smaller = less saturated = more converstions?

I'm just looking at a pile of Post-It notes with all the sponsors and my username/passwords not really knowing where to begin.

I wish I had a giant chart of sponsors with 'quick glance' info like Max PPS amount, revshare only programs, site porfolio listed by highest converting sites, whether they have a message board, how fresh their home page News is, etc...

Then I need to consider organization of the domain.

I'm just spinning my wheels right now. :(

I should just pick say 5 sponsors and start the nitty gritty of beuilding free sites. The organization will come easier if I have sponsor materials.

So, I'll pick some sponsors out and get a nice spread of sites to promote.

I'll build some free sites then post back here for the public reaming. :)

If anyone else has suggestions if you were starting from scratch how you'd do things, let me know. I may as well be grabbing the sponsors 2257 info from the get go...stuff like that...

Thanks for helping me out.

Edit: Are there any tools out there sort of like boardtracker is for message boards- a collective of latest info on sponsors?

Someone who organizes all the latest sponsor e-mails that informa about new galleries, new sites, new promotions, etc...

Sponsortracker? :D

Oddly enough, I did plan to do my stats early next week - I'm shooting for a Wednesday release date :)

As far as your Sponsortracker question, just read the news - I have to admit I'm pretty good at getting the emails from the sponsors up on the site :)

Hey GG,

Actually I do read the newsletters and find them very informative. In fact, that's why I'm signed up with so many damn companies. ;)

Hmm. Since I read the newsletter I never look at http://www.greenguysboard.com/news.html

That is a good 'at a glance' resource.

Your stats- I dunno. Do others have similar experience when they go to promote sponsors you do well with?

Sponsors overlap each other a lot and I'm sure after all the years in the biz you have your favs and some you don't like.

You don't seem to have too many small revshare programs in your stats.

Have you ever promoted ATKcash? A new guy took over their program and is pretty cool with me.

Have you promoted adultplayersclub at all?

adultlounge?

Some of the smaller sponsors will work with you as far as providing content you need, doing various shoots, etc. albeit slowly. The larger sponsors could give a rats ass. That's my experience.

It's really hard to work Revshare programs into my stats - the conversion ratios would be correct, but the money per click totals would be all fucked up :(

Get Roboform for yourself and make your life easier....imho it's a must have to keep track of logins etc. Just remember to back up it up regularly.

I like sponsors that open the members area to affiliates (if for a limited time).

Yeah- maybe I'll be pushing a lot of smaller sponsors.

Oh. That explains it. Makes sense.

Conversion ratios would still be useful.

Lightspeedcash, atkcash, mediumpimpin, nscash, ftvcash, our own cleo's foxy-angel, etc...

All revshare.

I think LS has PPS if you can send enough sales.

I tend to really like the backends and overall quality of the revshare sponsors compared to the larger sponsors....from a surfer's point of view.

If it's a single site or a very small portfolio of sites, the sponsors really seem to care about content quality vs quantity.

On one of the sponsor's boards (I think LS) someone asked what their longest revshare signup was and someone had a recurring signup for ftvgirls going back to 2001.

I used to get wood for the high PPS sponsors, but if the smaller sponsors focus a bit more on quality and retention I won't ignore the small revshare programs.

I know you all know this- I'm just coming to my senses now. ;)

I had Roboform a long time ago.

FireFox has the Password Manager. But you're right.

I asked on the FireFox forum if there was a way to export the Password Manager.

Something like Roboform would be cool to have, regardless. :)

Alpha:

I promote almost all smaller revshare programs.

I actively promote about 80 of them, and another 100 or so less actively. The ones I promote most heavily are sites with really good members areas.....ATK, Karups, FTV, Twistys, Zarnia, Matts, Only Tease etc.

If you want to know specifics of any one (including many that are not listed), hit me up. I do alot of fetish (soft) as well.

A good place to start is review sites like the area at Richards Realm.
