Bush Cracking Down On Porn Yet Again
This article is probably one of the most informative articles I've ever read about Bush's crackdown on the porn industry. It's scary that they're currently investigating 49 filmmakers and more indictments are to come.
Also they're gonna go after the more extreme stuff first like CP & rape sites, but once they get some of those convictions under their belts, they're going after the "mainstream" stuff. One more thing before I post the link. They're having a second "Obscenity Training Seminar" next month. :( http://www.newsday.com/news/columnis...5014117.column Everyone should read this. It pertains to YOU.....no one is immune. |

well Erection er Election time is near.. a year away .. it's time to dust off the bible, pound a few pulpits and declare that porn is destroying our way of life.. because i know that could never ever be blamed on: Quote:

Perhaps our industry should take advantage of Porn Awareness Week and lobby and promote our own interests during that time... of course, it's easy to say, but not many of us would be keen to come out in public with our real names and write articles defending what we do... I know I wouldn't, even though I've often thought of it.
I like the idea of IMPA becoming our industry association, like a union. Looking after our interests collectively... Hee hee, I'm a porn leftie. |
I don't know if it made it to the big mainland papers but down here in Tassie there was a report in the paper last week that quoted Senator Andrew Bartlett of the Democrats (just a note for our US readers - different Democrats to what is in the US) that viewing porn was therapeutic.
Hmmmm |
During my brief and embarrassing political career |roses| I got to know Andrew Bartlett very well, and he's a cool guy. He knew what I did for a living and found it very amusing. :)
And porn IS therapeutic!! As proven recently by the Australian scientists who found that masturbation prevented protate cancer. :D |
In Dandenong the Mayor got busted with "explict materials" on his office PC the other day! :)
If all the horny people in public services got together they could make the "Aussies 4 Porn" party! I'd vote for em :) |
I'm sorry..... but I saw the news footage of Mr. Bush heading for his helicopter to avoid the recent bad weather you had on the East Coast.
He was carrying a small dog and when he spotted the cameras, he held the dogs paw and waved it at the camera. To me, that is just not normal behaviour for a President. I preferred the guy who played saxophone. You've had Cliton and Bush, so what's the next one gonna be called? Labia ?? |
Where I worked before I began doing this full time they had a room set aside for the staff that had 6 computers in it. I had a long lunch break each day so I would lug my laptop into work and build free sites there.
One day someone found some pornography on one of the staff computers and they ended up calling the police who duly arrived and talked to everyone who used the computers - while I sat there working away on my laptop :) |

I'm so happy I live in denmark
When they do something about porn its good stuff. Like raising the legal age of starring in a porn movie from 15 to 18, or making shops move porn magazines from the childrens eyes and up to where I look :D Some times I feel sorry for Usa. So many extrem ppl, so many STUPID leaders and so many fucked up religious ppl ( Jehovas witnesses come from usa as long with other studpid groups like, morons ...ehhh.. the guys from the last days of the holy whatever...and more ) Any way... hope that son af a bitch ( bush ) will soon be thrown off the seat so you guys fron the stats dont have to worry about that anymore |
Osama who?
Bin Laden what? Fucking unreal sometimes...|angry| |

Although I don't think Osama ever appears with little waving dogs. LOL Anyway... back to my point about political lobby groups... In Australia, the Eros Foundation looks after our smut industry, and does a lot of political lobbying and article writing http://www.eros.com.au Unfortunately, they haven't really embraced online porn people, and their joining fees for internet people are quite high :( So, is there an equivalent lobby group in the US, apart from the fledgling IMPA? |

Bush Jr - I believe will go down as the worst president of history. We should give Clinton another 4 if we could.
