How was July for you?

Not good for me. Overall click through rate for all sites was way down from last month.

In some cases as much as half.

Traffic was about the same.

Surfn 2004-08-01 03:54 PM

Outstanding here. The best of this millennium. :)

Tobbe 2004-08-01 04:00 PM

july was very slow for me to... :(
more traffic less sales |goodnight

Ramster 2004-08-01 04:05 PM

Not bad for me, sales about the same.

Cleo 2004-08-01 04:07 PM

It was the best month that I have ever had since I've been in this business. No shit it really was, I'm one happy old whore right now. :)

RawAlex 2004-08-01 04:22 PM

I did a major house cleaning this month, didn't build as much stuff, but spent time cleaning up and making things better. July as a result was about the same as June for sales, but the future is much clearer and the situation easier to manage. I look for August and especially September to be really big recovery months.

Now I just have to get back and finish up all my customer work so I can get my stuff done!

:-)

Cleo, glad to here it. Congrats!

Alex
I was the same. I spent the entire month in Halifax so building wasn't my biggest priority but I did still manage to do some. Mostly I worked a few other things.

I have a few things on the go and am expecting September to be my best month ever. We shall see. ;)

JenC 2004-08-01 11:42 PM

July was excellent. Oddly enough I tied my sales exactly with June so June was excellent too. Two good months in a row, I'm just looking for the valley to come. |escape|

July was pretty decent here, my LL traffic went up about 50% compared to june.

Pervy 2004-08-02 05:45 AM

My July broke my previous best record for revenue :-)

My actual traffic was down but revenue was well up.

I'm just hoping its not a fluke and continues this way

July was very decent for me, Im also using more bandwith which is a good sign for me (and its not hotlinked bw).

Greenguy 2004-08-02 09:02 AM

5% better than June, which is much better than the 10% I lost from May to June.

sadman 2004-08-02 10:39 AM

Best month of this year for me.|jester| I hope I can do at least the same in August, although I am pesimistic about it.

Pusher 2004-08-02 03:30 PM

July was the best month this year...traffic and revenue up about 10% over June. Unfortunately, I advertise Max Cash sites a lot, and the change to monthly signups is not a good omen... |pissed|

how do u guys keep track of this

do you just look thru your deposits
or do you write down every check that comes in
do you use sponsor stats
bank statements maybe ????

Greenguy 2004-08-02 04:20 PM

I use RevStats for the up-to-date totals & my own records for how much I brought in during that calander month - I was up %5 for both :)

Cleo 2004-08-02 04:33 PM

I pretty much just track checks as they show up in my mailbox. I keep a spread sheet of expenses and income and have it make pretty charts to look at.

chilihost 2004-08-02 07:34 PM

July was also my best month to date too. This year I decided to change tactics over the summer and it has really been working for me. I am looking forward to Sept to see how things go once we are out of the traditional slowdown period.

cheers,
Luke

I don't know why but for me Summer is the best months for sales. Now that I have said that just watch sales drop |jester|

I use excell to track income and checks received. I don't check all sponsors, just the major ones then the smaller ones for me I use RevStats like Greenguy to help with the 1-2 signup guys.

I use http://www.statsremote.com to track the 144 sponsors I use. I also have a spreadsheet I use to track expenses such as domain purchases etc.

I was using RevStats as well but decided StatsRemote was enough :-)

I've asked the same thing and am still amazed at the answer.

Pervy 2004-08-02 11:09 PM

Yes.

Your personal login details and numbers are stored encrypted on your hard drive. StatsRemote does not have access to your personal login details and numbers at any time. You can verify this with a network monitor to check what data is actually sent where.

Its a sad reflection on the world today that people have to feel so paranoid.
