I'd like to personally thank Greenguy, MrMaryLou, Torn, Cleo, Eman, ladydesigner, Fonz, Trev, Useless Warrior, Jim, Alphawolf, Bell, Kezza, amadman, HarryMuff, phatbiatch, Ghost&Lliandrin, plateman, TijuanaPat, amber438, mist, urb, and digifan. It means a great deal to me that you guys and girls were sending me your best. So, again without wanting to sound like a total puss, really thank you all very much. :)

6 days ago the worst - far as I was concerned - actually happened. The whole left side of my face was swelling. My eye closed and I had an uncomfortable sensation under my chin. Worst part was being rushed to hospital. In fact, that was just fucking scary. You always know someone's about to croak in a movie when they get "rushed" to the er. They were worried about me choking. And so was I. There was nothing I could do to stop the swelling and the thought of it stopping me breathing had me scared witless for the first time in my life.

The swelling has gone away now though (just about) and they released me, minus a molar, yesterday.

Of course this all means that I'm back and will now commence will my lame ass threads. But that's your own fault for wishing I get better!

That's major suckitude.

I knew I felt weird when my upper cheek was swelling up. if it was the whole side of my face- that would be some scary shit.

So, is the infection ALL gone or are you still on antibiotics?

TODAY is the 1st day my infection feels pretty much ALL gone. That's 2 weeks.

There's still a little swelling but I'm told there's no need for another course of anitibiotics. I'm just chewing paracetamol for my gap now :)

Good that everything went OK. Being sick is PITA.

Glad you're back. Your last thread sounded so ominous we were all getting a bit scared when you were gone for more than a couple of days. I guess we can cancel that flowery wreath we ordered for your grave.

That's really nice, thanks a lot for your concern, mate :) It's certainly good to be home again. One good thing came of this though -- I've given up coffee. I gave up smoking at the start of the year and I've been trying to kick caffeine as well. Going without it this week, I don't really feel any pangs of compulsion. There's always an up side LOL :)
