Overture or ...

something else to pick up keywords according to site type?

overture is nice, but if I want to have much more keywords? Lets say 500-1000 instead of 10-50 shown by overture...

Do u know anything else?
I found some windows software some time ago, but it was shitty, and I prefer some linux ones :)

If you dont mind spending $5 - get yourself a Google AdWords account and when you're ready to look for keywords - just build an ad - and use their keyword suggestion tool - of course dont let the ad go live :)

the $5 can always be used later to really advertise as its just a deposit in your account :)

and how many keywords will they suggest?

5$ is cheap , but the http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/ works quite ok :)

Google will take your main keyword and give broad matching and precise matching keywords that are actually used on Google to search for stuff - and by making up an ad, you can actually see what kind of clicks would happen on the ad - then you can figure about 10 times that for a normal google listing in the "real" SERPs :)
Using the tool doesnt cost anything - its just having the ad account with them gives you access to it
