I guess the countdown is on. Only a few days before Florida in the middle of August. |hotjump| I really hope it's nice and humid.

I will be around most of the day except I have been told, I have to go shopping for this trip Thursday that I can't wait for :)

I have an InMotion being delivered today. I usually just leave my front door open of the FedEx person but after last week I don't think that is such a good idea.

I'll be hanging around my house until my package arrives and really not doing much of anything today other then doing web related work.

Fresh and hot espresso is on.

My day seems to be along the lines of Jim's - I'm sure I'll have to go shopping for something for this weekend :)

Of course, my wife got a flat while driving my my step-daughter to field hockey, so she could be in a foul mood for the rest of the day :(

Just found out that my InMotion was left at my front door on Friday so it looks like the asshole that tried to break into my house stole it from my doorstep. |banghead|

Cleo - just get on FedEx's ass that you don't have it & that they don't have a signature from you stating that you recv'd it - the huge flaw with FexEx & UPS is that 99% of the time, they have no proof that they delivered yoru package to you - for all you know, they could have scanned it & then thrown it off a bridge.

Don't take shit from them - tell them to prove to you that you recv'd it & when they can't, tell them & the shipping company you want a new one ASAP.

(this advice courtesy of someone who worked in the transportation business for 9 years - LOL)

The plot gets thicker.

I call FedEx and they say that they can't find my sig on file. So I tell them that I'm going over to CompUSA to buy it local and the woman tells me that they will honer what it costs me local to replace it. It is $60 more local so I went over and bought one.

So I may be getting $160 from FedEx but I will believe it when I see it.

Good morning - just sitting working and listening to J Hendrix Crosstown Traffic - trying to figure out which street my traffic is turning at since it isnt getting to my site to the tune of a 70% drop - but Im sure it will get back - other than that - getting on the road Wed morning to head down to Fla and catch some rays - Surfn - Ill catch up with ya in Gainesville for breakfast :)

FedEx called me this morning to ask if I had bought the replacement and how much did it cost. I told them and they said it will be turned into claims so that they could get a check out to me.

This seems too easy but maybe they know that they really fucked up, not really sure what to think. They did seem to freak out yesterday when they told me that they no longer had my sig on file and would be unable to FAX it to me.

Now I'm thinking that the whole reason that Mr Asshole tried to break into my house was due to seeing this package left at my front door.
