Sounds like Mother Nature is giving you quite a free show, the Northern Lights is something I've all ways wanted to see
Two of her shows I've seen and will never forget|
A total Eclipse in La Pas 15/16 years ago (the lights went out like flipping a switch there were stars in the sky, a sudden breeze, the ground shimmered, the sun was a circle in the sky with a fiery lump that worked it's way from one side to the other, the pelicans hit the water and went to sleep and five minutes later the lights were back on).
Night watch sailing off the cost of California in a real bad red tide, (a red tide is when a bunch of one celled Phosphorus sea critters all float in at once) the water had looked more brown than red all day, I got up for my watch at midnight the boat was leaving a bright neon green trail behind in it's wake. A school of dolphins found us and the show was on, when they jumped out of the water it lit the sky, they were leaving these bright green trails so you could follow the whole school at once (it only lasted about 20 minutes but when I think of trails I think of that night first and a night in 1971 that we won't get into).
