What really gets me is how everyone done here is pushing
Silestone. I just don't get it. Besides being kind of ugly it costs about a buck more square foot. If that wasn't enough it will burn if you put a very hot pot on it or something like that. Plus it will scratch with a knife.
Another counter top they are pushing down here is cement. This also costs more and they tell you that it isn't really good to use in a kitchen that is going to get a lot of use plus it is fucking ugly as hell.
