I think any TGP owner has the right to do whatever they want with their TGP. But, it just goes to prove my theory that most TGP owners are basically shallow with delusions of godhood. It's one thing to make rules dictating, size of thumbs, number of thumbs and the content in the thumbs. But, when tgp owners start dictating what sponsors a webmaster can use I think its total bullshit. Because a TGP owner has a problem with a site owner it becomes everyone's problem? It's just childish. TGP owners need to pay more attention to accepting good looking galleries that they think their surfers will like and that's it. It's difficult enough in this business without having to keep in mind who has hurt whose feelings and all the bs politics.

I was using a sponsor a few months back that was converting well for me. But, then a friend of mine started having issues with that sponsor. I thought it was bullshit and they were just being cry babies over it, but I like them, so I stopped using that sponsor. Plus they were going to hire me to do some work for them and I didn't want risk loosing out on that work. Well it's about four months maybe five months later, they still haven't hired me to do the work and I lost my best converting sponsor over it. All because I tried to take sides, make a friend happy and so on. In the end, I fucked myself out of some good money. I won't do that again. So when I submit galleries now, and I come to the GG page and I see the excellent specials for paid spots I don't buy them, I will some day I'm sure but so far, I can't get myself to do it because I think why do I want to waste my money on someone who won't even let me use the sponsors I want?

Sure someday, I'll buy a spot one of these days but I'll buy a spot at a whole lot of other places first. Places that don't tell me who I can promote because they got their feelings hurt by a program owner and have decided that everyone must suffer because of it.

Again, I'm not claiming TGP owners don't have the right to say who they will list and why and I never will. You don't want to list someone for any reason, that's your right. It's also my right to think that reasoning may be childish and shallow and makes you no different then the program owner you despise so much.

I remember the whole deal; didn't it cross over on to a few boards? Didn't it end with an apology? Maybe I'm wrong and just remember it differently. But it doesn't matter. The bottom line is that your decision to not allow epic galleries has cost you money, it has cost epic money and it's cost a whole lot of webmasters money.

I like Trey, never had any problems with him. Sure he shouts his mouth off and sounds like an ass sometimes but so what. He pays on time, every time and there's a shit load of sponsors that I'm sure you list every day that don't. But I guess that's ok, as long as they never hurt your feelings.

I'll end this by saying that I have a ton of respect for you in this business. I read your newsletters, I browse the board and I look forward to meeting you someday. You seem like a great guy. But I think it's wrong that you've banned Epic. Mixing business with pleasure is rarely a good thing unless it involves lots of alcohol and boobies.

Just my two cents on it.
