For alot of us, these wars and their casualties are just numbers on the TV or radio. Makes you realize just what is going on over there when you can see it first hand for yourself.

I only hope we figure out a way to get ourselves out of this mess someday. I supported the war at the time, but now, it's a fucking disaster and we're being made to look like incompetent fools around the globe for going into a country that really was not a threat to anyone anymore and not being able to get it under control.

All of my great-uncle's (4) served in WW2 and thankfully made it home alive, but it stayed with them their whole lives, and that war made sense. I can only imagine how our soldiers must feel now coming home from this.
