Actually, it was a really good thing this happened.
To be safe I did a site: domain.com in google and went though each of my sites quickly.
Back from when my hard drive took a shit- I have my 5 oldest sites had the same uppcase issue, though only in certain folders...
So, the site would load, but no css linked and no pics linked 'cos the files I uploaded had all upper case images and/or upper case /ASSETS and /PICS folder names instead of /assets /pics
Hell, in 2 cases the folder ASSETS was all caps and JUST the css file was all caps, but the others were OK.
So, I downloaded the site folders off my old server then deleted and uploaded the lower case files.
At least these were my 5 oldest sites from back in late August...so very little traffic.
But- there probably was close to 1 day (depending on people's nameserver updates) where anyone who went into the old sites site just got a 'shell' site without any CSS imported or banners, pics, etc...
Not good for me you or the surfer. Glad I had that one main folder that was in all caps and Cleo posted...otherwise I'd have 5 sites that were doing nothing but pissing off your surfers.
It's all fixed now. I guess in my random testing I just didn't pick an old enough site when I tested off the IP on the new server.
Downloading ALL free sites off old host into a folder and will burn to CD.
Thanks, Cleo!
