Don't name your banners "banner" or use "ad" in any of your files. That includes phpadsnew.
You may also find that Google AdSense text links are not displayed too.
Don't rely on standard sized banners like 468x60. Better to use something odd sized.
Then test your sites with all the privacy and firewall settings switched on.
