I always seem to get scratch off tickets which is always fun thinking you'll win (but then you don't...)
I'm a music fool too so I tend to end up with gift certificates for Hastings and such.

The best thing I've ever got were movie passes (gift certificates). Once things slowed down at the family Christmas zoo, I left with my girlfriend at the time and went to the movies. A nice break since my family can drive me crazy sometimes.
