I thought jay-walking was flaunting your private body parts at motorists, or walking nude in the streets, or walking drunk in the streets, or getting motorists to pick you up for some sex. Had no idea it was simply crossing the street. Wow! That's insane!
Some tips from me:
1. Make sure you have no visible objects such as your ID sticking out of your pockets.
2. Carry lots of $1 and $2 notes on you, ie. if you catch a bus, you won't get change if you stick a $10 bill in the machine and the bus driver can't give you change either and don't ask passengers if they can break your note for you.
3. Make sure you know the telephone numbers and addresses of the local emergency services, ie. police, doctor and hospital.
4. Most of the hotel maids don't speak or understand english. Just get out of their way and let them do their job.
5. Vegas has the finest and smoothest hustlers out there. Watch out!
6. At the end of the day your feet will hurt.
