Newsgroup visitors nowadays are smart enough to hotlink promo content. I´m registered in some yahoo groups which are created for a porn actress living in austria. Surfers take gigs of bandwidth grabbing free content there, nearly no sales at all - some just remove the reseller ID to galleries.

You can spread teasing content, but today too much content is for free on the net.
