Yea well look this is kinda my fault then.
My business is idea's - And when i post something like this i try to be careful not to give my whole idea away. Simple good business.
Its not simply me hot linking to your videos on my sites.
It would be a mix of new ways of showing your content to potential customers.
A few examples (not im not giving everything away k thx)
All the File sharing networks - kazaa, limewire, bit torrents, IRC, FTP, Newsgroups ect ect- Here your not giong to pull a good conversion rate. Here what your giong to get is file sharers, who will store your files and pass them around for you for free.
Free sites - These would be places on some free sites, allowing people to directly download them.
DVD'S- You didnt think of this did you? I have deals with some Adult media distrubuters here in Australia - How about an interactive demo of your website, provided with some simple yet effective information about your website? A permanent advertisment for your site sitting in someone's house.
Streaming media - Anyone noticed that people are posting streaming content like things from shooshtime.com ? Setup your video on a site like this, and people will post it up for you, again bringing recurring and free traffic. A half or quarter page blurb on how good your site is should work great, the user has a high chance of reading it while he is waiting for the video to load.
Im sorry if i seem rude and arrogant ( useless warrior is trying to push that point i think
) - But fuck, every time i get on these fucking boards, i have to defend myself like this. Im not giong to come here and post my idea's step by step am i, i simply put up some quick information on what i wanted to do, and was willing to discuss my idea's and plans in detail with anyone who was interested in finding new ways to market thier site.
Its a shame these boards cant be more about creating and developing new idea's - rather then about putting opther people's idea's and people jumping on the bandwagon. Im not even talking about me here, i see it all the time, some poor bastard has put alot of work into some idea, then some little kid comes along and bad mouth's it.
Im always very open to suggestions and comments, but this is just rubbish. Some people here have provided some great insight into what i want to do, and how it may work or not work, but sadly alot of people have just jumped on the flaming bandwagon. We all know it happens, lets not even debate that.
To everyone who posted up something inteligent and worthwhile, thanks, its much appreciated. To the people who are just running around making snide comments to anyone they can.. Keep it up guys, if it makes you feel better about your own business, i guess thats the main thing isnt it.
