Welcome to GG&Jim first of all, you've got all kinds of reading to do in the future, but I'd say the first things you need to start thinking about is are you going to learn html coding, or are you going to use a WYSIWYG editor, such as Dreamweaver, or Frontpage.
Once you know the answer to that, you'll need to find an affordable reputable adult host, and a domain name at the least to get going strong.
As for what's in store for you, lots of hard work, patience, and lots of long hours.
