Swedguy is right, the sponsor can set it for anything from 1 to whatever. cd34; ours is set for way longer than 3 days.
Tommy; if your surfer clicks on the link you provided, AND then clicks later on someone else's link (during the life of your cookie) that also contains

the credit for a sale then goes to the newest cookie (for it's preset lifespan).
