I guess we will just have to find something else to power our industrial existence of technological bliss.
We could always extract the oils from the bodies of the resulting giant mutant cockroaches that are living off of the corpses.
Since the oceans will probably be dead we will need to find an alternative food source. I hear that deceased people make a great food source called Soylent Green.
