Just to put the farms around here in perspective.
My friends farm I just helped out on is just under half the size of Manhatten Island.
Real close to 10,000 acres this year, and a bit more planned for next year. (though not all sugar beets)
Where I am at now, is about the size of SoHo or the Village.
