Wow, a local! Saratoga Springs (about 30 minutes south of me) is a very pretty place with lots of pretty old buildings and pretty young faces and a very corrupt police chief and political party. It's all a facade. Sarartoa is where you move to show off your money and make people think you have class even when it is obvious that you don't. I'm not a fan of Saratoga either. Can you tell? But then again, I'm not a fan of where I live, which is where you move when you are ready to admit that you have neither class nor money.
