It's hard to see it in that picture. But the whole building consists of 9 cubes. The lower 2 is going to be offices, the top 7 will be apartments.
From top to bottom there's a 90 degrees rotation, that's where it got the name Turning Torso from.

So far it has been one hell of an expensive building. A lot of people thinks that it's just a waste to build such a luxury building. You should build buidling that everybody can live in blah blah blah.
The exposure this building has got is incredible. Discovery Channel made a documentary about it. It has been on numerous TV shows all over the world. Awards, newspapers, you name it.
It has been nothing but great for the city
