Not sure if I should post this here or in the newbe section. But if it gets moved that’s cool with me. Anyway I'm trying to figure out the programs for getting traffic and have been reading the site, allot. I have learned much but still I'm somewhat confused.
I see programs for $50.00 sign ups, Rev Share, PPC, etc. At this time I think I could only go PPS, PPC and/or Rev Share. My site is a cam site and we are paying the models 50%. On a 10 min show @ $2.00 per min we walk away with $5.50 after paying CCBill, model and site over head (server, bandwidth, etc). At this time the only thing I have read that would not work is Rev Share. At the current listed rates max we could offer would be $1.00 to $1.50 (or 10%/15%) I have read at other forums that sites won’t send traffic for anything under 30%. Is that true? Can anyone tell me what I am missing here? I crunch the numbers down to the minute (drives the wife nuts) But i think in business it has to be that way before you even attempt to enter a program where you have to start paying out. You must know your bottom line per min as there is no sure fire way of getting a 2nd show. Too many variables (customer my not have the funds remaining, spouse walks in during the pencil sharpening and cuts the internet from the house, etc etc.) So am I on the right track here? Would that be bad payouts for rev share? I'm not looking to start anything till well after the site is up as I know I need to learn a shit load more and surly don’t want to get ripped or promise something I find out later cant be delivered on. But I also know I will have to start something very soon as the site (like all) needs traffic. TRAFFIC THE GOD THAT WILL RULE ME SOON!!! Any advice would be great. Thanks Jugg..
