LOL! Now that's funny.
Although I do admire the work ethic and determination of the Czech players and congratulate them on their winning this tournament, they still have a LONG way to go to be compared to Canada's greatness for hockey in general. You didn't see Iginla, Sakic, Foote, Blake, and host of other great players because they are too busy counting their millions.
While we're on the topic, didn't the Czech's lose to Greece (the Euro Champs, by the way) in soccer?

Well, Sweden did not play very well last nite.
But I think we did a good tournament over all and our new coach did a great job. Something for the future.

Thomas...I honestly thought you were a sportsman. but I guess you are just anti-Canadian. I was born in the US but have lived here in Canada for 33 years now and to hear such a malicious attitude towards Canadian people at all is tragic.
There were also a bunch of no shows on this Swedish team as well.
In fact, the only team that was represented by its BEST players, were in fact the Czechs. And for that reason, they deserve to be considered WORLD CHAMPIONS for 2005. Not just on the ice at this tournament, but also in heart and patriotism as well.
Way to Go Czechs!
