I am confused about the 3 links per page rule on most LL submit pages. Is that 3 links total including banners and text links?

Having a text link right below a banner makes it more effective but does this then count as 2. It is of course 2 sepearate links as far as the code is concerned. But they are effectively one visualy. IMHO.

But what do I know?
