RE 2257: What are your (link list admins) stances on changing content in old sites?

As many of you are aware, there will be a need to swap out explicit content with non-explicit content to comply with the new reglations. For some sponsors, getting documentation is easy, but for others it's just not going to happen and some even request that the explicit content be swapped out with their non-explicit content. Some of us may even have to just delete the stuff from our servers.

What this all means to link list admins is that there will be a ton of sites flagged for checksum changes and such.

How are you guys going to deal with this?

Will there be a grace period for submitters to get their sites into compliance or is the "delete" button just going to be hit on your ends? Also, for the ones we have to delete, what if we just put a page up with simple text "Site removed due to new regulations". Can we all adobt a standard for this?

Keep in mind, some of us have 100's of sites listed needing alterations at the moment and having to resubmit all of them would impact our daily business quite heavily. Just adding proper compliance statements will cause a checksum flag. That would mean putting ourselves hundreds of days behind in some cases (providing worse case scenario of the "delete" button is exercized).

Any thoughts?
