Many video cards have dual monitor support. I like it for when I need to see two pages at once, like to compare them. Or if I need to copy and paste off one window, into another, easier than going back and forth on the same monitor. Many times have so many windows/programs open, easier to have some on the another monitor. Maybe it's just me..
Occasionally I have a movie going on the other monitor while I am working.
