Keep your content don't throw it out yet!!!! Alot of people are jumping the gun .
Thats one of the big things in the 2257 doc that my lawyer actually thinks is way out of line.. and he thinks that stands the best chance out of everything of getting overturned or changed. Way it was explained to me is like this Ok you go to a movie in a theatre it doesnt say in the credits They are redisplaying the movie for a profit So in all actuality if this 2257 revision rule was passed every movie theatre in the US would be required to get 2257 docs and keep records of time shown, date shown etc.... on any Rated R and Rated MA films with explicit nudity and sexual situations in them . And he doesnt see that happening anytime soon...
And also was explained to me How do I know the girl or guy in the content we use is who they say they are. We have not seen or met these people in person and verified their ages or documents ourselfs we are taking 2nd hand sometimes 3rd or 4th hand documents which can be altered at any time. with extra parties being involved. I e.. wm's, content resellers, shady content suppliers, spons. etc... Im kinda rambling but trying to convey the point How are we as secondary producers to know if the Docs are LEGIT, and if the Feds come to your house who ya think they will believe you or a corporation. thats the main point. with computers anything an be doctored.
